Membership Guidelines
1. Produce will be delivered on a weekly basis (Mondays). This day may be adjusted when a holiday falls on a Monday.
2. You must pick up your order on Monday (3-6pm) at main location (8359 Beacon Blvd. Ste 608 Ft. Myers Fl) as we are limited on space, unless you have made prior arrangements with the co-op manager, Melissa Kicklighter. Seconday locations have different pickup times.
3. I will e-mail/update on website the weekly order list Thursday evening/Friday morning. Please send back your order to Melissa by Friday midnight in order to compile and place order Saturday morning. The sooner you order the better. If items sell out, the first ones to order will be the ones who get the item. Please note that prices change on a daily basis, but should not be significant. In the event that there is a considerable price increase you will be notified prior to order placement.
4. If enough people do not want a specific item (e.g. only 2 people want blueberries), I will omit that item from the order.
5. If we come close to filling a case (65% or more), I will split the case among those ordering that item. Your total cost will not be more than $10 over your original order amount.
6. Once you send me your order list you are obligated to purchase the items you selected.
7. There is a $1 fee for delivery to the South Zone pickup area (in front of the Alltel and Metro PCS wireless store in Preserve Plaza at 41 & Constitution).
8. The price for items will be at near wholesale cost.
9. There is a $15 annual membership fee. This fee will paid out of your deposit on your fifth order. If you decide not to continue the co-op before your 5th order your deposit will be refunded in full.
10. Payment method accepted will be cash, check, or charge with Paypal (add 3% + $.30 fee).
11. Before you can order, you must make a deposit (amount is your choice). Your purchase amount cannot exceed your deposit. After 4 consecutive orders (with good pick-up and payment history), your deposit will be applied to your 5th order less the $15 membership fee.
12. There will be a $15 returned check fee should the need arise.
13. Although the produce will be of highest quality and inspected by Global Organics prior to shipment, and by Melissa upon receipt, should someone get ill for any reason Melissa is released from any and all liability. I will be happy to contact Global Organics regarding the matter.
14. I want this co-op to be a healthful, cost-effective, and convenient experience for everyone. Please feel free to make any suggestions or comments that you feel will make our co-op even better.
